Advertising
A place in the feed is labeled as an ad and kept apart from people's posts. After every tenth text post that place is empty: there is no ad, and data is not sold for ads.

Now
After every tenth text post there is an empty window labeled “Ad”. No paid ad runs in it. There is no personalized advertising, because there is no ad. A switch that says “turn ads off” is not shown, so it does not look as if an ad has already been bought.
If ads are added
- An ad will be labeled as an ad and will not be mixed in as a friend's post.
- Personalization will be a setting, not a condition of the right to speak. Turning it off does not loosen or tighten the speech rules.
- Letters, chats, phone numbers, and dates of birth are not given to advertisers.
- Criticism of an advertiser, a government, or this platform is not removed as the price of a placement.
- Child sexual abuse material and other banned material are not an ad surface: that material is forbidden on its own.
